An Overview of Doug Moore's Approach
I've had over 20 years experience as a psychologist and life-coach. For nearly 10 years, I've integrated Energy Medicine and Energy Psychology methods into my work to help people heal from the past and live more fully in the present. I also weave into our sessions the principles of mindfulness and the wisdom of the Enneagram, which delineates the nine basic personality types of human nature and their interrelationships.
As an avid explorer of the various ways we can realize our potential, I have found the above methods very helpful in bringing balance to the heart and its emotions, our mind, the body, and energies that weave through and connect us with others and our Essence. This intuitive blend helps those challenged by anxieties and depression, as well as those who seek to foster their personal, professional, and spiritual development.
In addition to working with adults, couples, and organizations, I enjoy conducting various workshops and groups that promote personal transformation and spiritual awareness. I also teach classes and give presentations on Energy Medicine and Energy Psychology. I'm on the faculty of Donna Eden's Energy Medicine Certification Program where I have the opportunity to work with students from around the world studying to integrate energy based methods into their personal and professional lives.
Working Individually with Doug
Our first session or two will focus on exploring the reasons you are seeking services and gathering some pertinent background information. We will discuss what you hope to accomplish, options in reaching those goals, and what fits best for you in achieving them. To meet the unique needs of each client, my services integrate current scientific findings with a creative and intuitive process.
Physical and emotional health challenges are part of the normal human experience, which is impacted by one’s history, lifestyle, genetics, and coping strategies. I see these challenges as an opportunity to enhance your health, as well as an opportunity for growth.
I view our work together as a collaborative process between you, me, and anyone else you determine to be appropriate. There are a variety of services in the community that may be helpful in complementing your work. I can help you explore what combination, if any, best meets your needs.My goal is to help facilitate balanced and integrated ways of being that nourish your heart, mind, body and energy.
